"OFF mode" ============================== 1. "Video recording mode" -The watch will record video with sound. -The blue LED will blink three times, then goes off during video recording. 2. "Photo recording mode" -The watch record One photo -In this mode LED is OFF, and this mode is very short, less than one second. 3. "Audio recording mode" -The watch record only sound. -Both blue and red LEDs will blink three times, then goes off during audio recording. 4. "Video standby mode" -In this mode the blue LED is ON, and if you short press the "A button", the watch start video recording. If we press "A button" again, the video recording stop, and the watch goes in "Video standby mode" again (led blue is ON). 5. "Photo standby mode" -In this mode, the red LED is on, and if we press the "A button", the watch take one photo, the red LED blink once then will be ON, and the watch will be in the Photo standby again, so we can shoot the next photo if we press again "A button". 6. "Audio standby mode" -In this mode both LEDs blue and red are ON, and if you short press the "A button", the watch start audio recording. If we press "A button" again, the audio recording stop, and the watch goes in to the "Audio standby mode" again (led blue is ON). 7. "OFF mode" -In this mode, the consumption power is very low, the watch will keep the time. To see if the watch state, we suld short press "C button" (= mode/function button): - If no LED is blinking, the watch is in "OFF mode". - If the blue LED is blinking three times, the watch is in "Video recording mode" - If both blue and red LEDs are blinking three times, the watch is in "Audio recording mode" ============================== IR lights ON/OFF: - In the "Video recording mode", IR LEDs can be used. To turn ON IR, long press "C button" until red LED will start to blink (three times). To stop IR light, short press "C button". The blue led will blink 3 times, and the IR light will be OFF. The video recording will continue. ============================== Turn the watch ON/OFF: In the "OFF mode", long press the "A button", until both leds will lit up. The blue led will be on for a few seconds, then the blue led will blink three times and the watch will start video recording (= "Video recording mode") To turn OFF the watch, long press "A button", the red LED will blink three times and the watch will be OFF ("OFF mode"). If the watch is in recording mode, the record will stop and the file will be saved. ============================== How to charge the watch: - Turn off the watch - Connect it to the computer/charger (5V charger) - VERY IMPORTANT: in order to avoid shortcircuits, connect the USB cable to watch first and after that connect the USB cable to the computer/charger. to unplug the watch, disconnect the USB cable from the computer/charger first, and after that, disconnect the USB cable from the watch. ============================== How to use it like a webcam: - Install drivers from CD - Turn on the watch ("Video recording mode") - Connect it to the computer - it will be recognized as a webcam - VERY IMPORTANT: in order to avoid shortcircuits, connect the USB cable to watch first and after that connect the USB cable to the computer. to unplug the watch, disconnect the USB cable from the computer first, and after that, disconnect the USB cable from the watch. ============================== How to set the date: - Turn off the watch - Connect it to the computer - it wil be recognized as a removable disk - In the main directory (not in a folder) we must write a text file named time.txt - On the time.txt file we mast write the date in this format: 2016-04-26 22:42:53 - We will save the file in the watch directory (example F:\time.txt ) - Disconnect the watch from the computer. - Turn on the watch. (When we turn on the watch, the date from the time.txt file will be used to set the watch time) - Tip: We can add 2-3 minutes to the real date, disconnect the watch from the computer, wait to the date written in the file and push the "A button", so the date will be more accurate - we also can push the "A button" 4 seconds before the time from the file in order to obtain a less error + - 1second. - If we don't want a time stamp on our recordings, we must write the date in this format: 2016-04-26 22:42:53 N and we will repeat the above procedure. - If we want the time stamp back on our recordings, we must write the date in this format: 2016-04-26 22:42:53 Y and we will repeat the above procedure. ============================== How to save the recordings / erase old recordings - Turn off the watch - Connect the watch to the computer - VERY IMPORTANT: in order to avoid shortcircuits, connect the USB cable to watch first and after that connect the USB cable to the computer. to unplug the watch, disconnect the USB cable from the computer first, and after that, disconnect the USB cable from the watch. - The watch will be recognized as a removable disk, and we can copy, move, delete our files. ============================== How to record a video: - Turn On the watch: long press "A button" until LEDs lit. Blue will lit a few seconds, blink three times, and goes Off. The watch will record video with sound. - To stop the record, we can short press "A button" to enter in the video stand by mode (the blue LED Will be ON, the video recording will stop, the video file will be written). If we press "A button" again, video recording will start again and so on. - Or we can stop the watch - long press "A button", red LED will blink 3 times, the recording will stop, the file will be written, the watch will turn OFF. - During "Video recording mode" we can turn on IR light - long press "C button"l red light blink 3 times, IR will be ON. To turn off IR, press "C button" again, blue LED will blink three times, IR will go OFF. ============================== How to record photos: - Turn On the watch: long press "A button" until LEDs lit. Blue will lit a few seconds, blink three times, and goes Off. The watch will record video with sound. - Short press "A button" to enter in the Video stand by mode (the blue LED Will be ON, the video recording will stop, the video file will be written). - Short press "C button" to enter in the Photo stand by mode (the red LED Will be ON). - Each time we press "A button", the red LED will go off for a second, a photo will be taken, the red LED will be on again, the watch will be in the photo stand by mode, ready to take a new photo if we press "A button" again. ============================== How to record sound: - Turn On the watch: long press "A button" until LEDs lit. Blue will lit a few seconds, blink three times, and goes Off. The watch will record video with sound. - Short press "A button" to enter in the Video stand by mode (the blue LED Will be ON, the video recording will stop, the video file will be written). - Short press "C button" to enter in the Photo stand by mode (the red LED Will be ON). - Short press "C button" again to enter in the Audio stand by mode (both LEDs red and blue Will be ON) - Press "A button", both LEDs blue and red will blink three times and go off. The watch will record sound. - To stop the record, we can short press "A button" to enter in the audio stand by mode (both LEDs blue and red Will be ON, the audio recording will stop, the audio file will be written). If we want to start the audio recording again, we can press "A button", both LEDs blue and red will blink three times and go off, the watch will record sound again. - Or we can stop the watch - long press "A button", red LED will blink 3 times, the recording will stop, the file will be written, the watch will turn OFF. ============================== As we can see from above, the "A button" is used to turn on/off the watch (long press), and to switch between "record mode" and "stand by mode". The "C button" is used to change "stand by mode" - each short press (in a stand by mode) will change the mode between video, photo and audio mode in that order. Also, in "Video recording mode" "C button can be Used" to turn on IR light (long press), turn off IR (short press). "C button" can be used to check the mode (short press).
